RUSA offers online reference classes

RUSA (The Reference and User Services Association, a division of ALA) is offering many online classes coming up that would be of interest to a lot of folks.  The classes being offered currently are as follows:

  • Business Reference 101 November 17-December 19, 2008
  • Reference Interview December 8, 2008-January 16, 2009
  • Genealogy 101 February 16-March 20, 2009
  • plus a Readers' Advisory class and a Marketing Basics for Libraries class for which dates should be coming soon

The genealogy one looks really interesting to me as that is an area of huge weakness in my brain.  Check out RUSA's website to learn more (about the classes, not my brain).
