Online Marketing for Academic Libraries
Today I spoke to the staff of the University of San Francisco Libraries about online marketing. It was a very hot day, a bit warm to sit in a room for 90 minutes listening to me! But the questions were great, the discussions lively, and a lot of people seemed very energized by the topics. I want to thank the program organizing committee, the dean, and especially Eric Shappy who is hands-down the best speaking engagement organizer I've ever worked with.
Here is my presentation as a PDF: Online Marketing for Academic Libraries . Perhaps it can help some other libraries too!

I concur with my colleagues! Thursday's presentation was filled with excellent information and suggestions! I especially appreciated the opportunity to see how web applications I've dabbled in can be put to good use! Thanks again!

Hi Sarah,
Thank you so very much for your presentation at USF today. I thought you did a great job, and I really enjoyed your talk and learned a lot of excellent things from it. I'm sorry I didn't get to thank you in person; I thought I'd have the chance to at lunch. But in any case, I really appreciate your hard work and wonderful presentation! :) Thanks again.

Absolutely terrific presentation materials - thank you very much for sharing. I work at a public library right now and nearly everything you mentioned could be used in the public sector. So many great ideas - I'm overwhelmed!
