Marketing to Bloggers

Back from a post in February, Meredith Farkas had some great tips for marketing to bloggers (e.g. companies, start-ups, websites that want to get bloggers to pitch for them).  So, for all of you out there trying to get bloggers to plug your goods, beware: we get turned off really easily.  Be sincere and minimalistic, and you'll make more friends than foes.  I've had some marketers come on so hard that I actually end up hating the product before I've even looked at it (read: repeated, 3-times-a-week pestering emails asking why I haven't blogged about their thingie yet).  Ugh.  Marketers.
