Why Hawaii makes me hate the computer

I've been enjoying my vacation here in Kauai, after my speaking at the Hawaii Library Association's annual conference, and still have a week left of rest before starting my new job. As you can see, I haven't been blogging, but when it's a toss up between sitting inside with a laptop and going outside to see things like the beautiful Limahuli Gardens, as pictured here, you can guess the result.

When my wife and I visited Arizona and the Navajo Reservation, we had the same feeling. That and the limited access to a high speed connection.
