Future of Libraries Conference III
The Future of Libraries Conference III is happening next week, in San Francisco at the San Francisco Public Library's Main Library. I am co-moderating with Anthony Costa, and will also be presenting on one of the panels (how did they talk me into this extra work? :P). You can read more about the conference here (still time to register, a mere $40 for a full day). You can also see comments from one of our panelists, Char Booth (who is presenting via Skype videoconferencing about her library's Skype videoconferencing reference project). The whole day promises to be intellectually stimulating, and not the same old same old discussions of Flickr and wikis (not that Flickr and wikis aren't important). I think we're going beyond that, deeper than that. I hope to see you there!

What a pleasant surprise to see the extra mention of the event! Thanks a million. And as for how we talked you into this: it wouldn't be the same without you and Anthony. Looking forward to seeing you there next week.
