Multiple-platform support for BYOMS

Remember BYOMS?  I posted about this a while back--you can add a searchable website to your buddy list and send an inquiry to the database and get results.  The results you get back depend on the cleanliness of the database you're querying, so querying library catalogs brings back junk.  When it launched in June, it only worked in AIM.  Now it works in Yahoo! Messenger, Windows Live Messenger, or any other chat client that supports the Jabber/XMPP protocol.
