LOC preserving historically important websites

The Library of Congress has launched a site called Web Capture dedicated to preserving websites of historical significance.  The first thing it made me think of was the Internet Archive Wayback Machine's special collections of websites dedicated to historical events.  They're both covering the same topics (like September 11th).  At any rate, to learn more about the LoC's project, you can read through their FAQs.
