Second Life News

  1. The BBC has rented a virtual island in the Second Life online game so they can stage music festivals. 
  2. In Second Life Library News, an introduction to the Second Life Library 2.0 is being held through OPAL on Wednesday, May 31, from 2:00-3:30 pm (CST).  Speakers will include Greg Schwartz, Tom Peters, Lori Bell, Kelly Czarnecki, Jami Lynn Schwarzwalder, and other librarians involved in the project.  No need to register: just go to http://67.19.231.218/v4/login.asp?r=67955673&p=0 when it's time for the event, enter your name, and you're good to go.  The LiB will be there--will you?
