Google and Accessibility Problem
Google requires captchas for several of its services: Blogger.com, Google News Alerts, and My Search History. A captcha is one of those "blurry word in a box" images which require you to manually type the word out in order to continue. The problem is that non-sighted users cannot use a captcha without assistance from a sighted user.
Microsoft and Yahoo also use captchas, but they both provide workarounds for non-sighted users. Google does not.
More information and suggestions for action can be found on Baby Boomer Librarian.

I strongly urge everyone to write to Google immediately asking that they provide accessible alternatives to their CAPTCHA. Please visit http://www.blindaccessjournal.com and http://blog.carrolltech.org for further details. Thanks!
