Online Reader's Advisory

George over at It's All Good tells us about a new online reader's advisory tool (still in Beta) called StoryCode.  It uses individual's scoring of books to relate similar titles to each other.  George's post explains the process very well.  George also reminds us of FictionFinder, a free OCLC tool for finding fiction based on the MARC record.  I would also point to the Reader's Robot from the Thompson Nicola Regional District Library System and to Gnooks, which is a lot like the database NoveList, but free!
