Accessible Library Websites

Are you a library webmaster or webmistress? A LIS Master's candidate at SJSU has put together a page of accessible library web design resources. This is an amazing set of resources, and one that I would recommend to anyone handling a library website. Even if you're not planning a re-design, it's important to address accessibility issues, not only to comply with the law, but to provide accessible resources to all your users. Many of the tools and requirements classified under "accessible web deisgn" apply to those with low or poor vision. With more and more baby boomers becoming bi-focaled (and with some of us who are in the under 40 sect having failing vision), these things become more and more important.
